The Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), the Small and Medium Industries Development Corporation (SMIDEC) and the State Government of Sarawak will be organising the "Sarawak Investment & Trade Dialogue and Seminar on the Manufacturing and Services Sector”.

Details of the seminar are as follows:-

Venue: Riverside Majestic Hotel Kuching, Sarawak

Time:

9.00 a.m - 5.30 p.m (on 18 August 2009)

8.30 a.m - 4.20 p.m (on 19 August 2009)

The objectives of the seminar are:-

- to provide the latest updates on government policies, incentives, facilities and support services available to the business community in Malaysia;

- to highlight investment opportunities available to investors in Sarawak;

- to increase awareness of the functions of agencies under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI);

- to provide a forum for the business community to network with key government agencies.
